A Mexican Rebozo is a long flat garment used mostly by women in Mexico. It can be worn in various ways, usually folded or wrapped around the head and/or upper body to shade from the sun, provide warmth and as an accessory to an outfit. It is also used to carry babies and large bundles, especially among indigenous women.

    1. Spot clean with mild soap and hand wash, hang dry.
    2. Lightly iron.
    1. Texture is soft and the virgin wool is not so itchy, softer and softer with normal use.
    2. These Mexican Rebozo Shawls are woven on a backstrap loom with nice geometric tribal style patterns brocaded right into the cloth by a master weaving family of San Andres Larrainzar, Chiapas.
    3. San Andres is one of the meccas of Mayan textiles in Mexico and these pieces are living proof.
    4. More than ten lines of brocading are in this piece, that's a lot of work! This piece also serves as a table runner or at the foot of a bed with it's simple fringe hanging at the sides.
    5. Cotton thread with virgin wool warp and virgin wool and or cotton and art silk brocade embroideries all hand done.
    6. It's a great specimen of Frida Kahlo Accessories.
